If you efiled the state return, after 24-48 hours you should have received an email saying if the efile was accepted for processing or if it was rejected. And you can also tell by looking in your online account at the Tax Home page and scrolling down to "Your Tax Returns & Documents" and choosing tax year 2024.
What is the "it" you mentioned above where you said it was "pending" for months? Is that the state tax agency's refund lookup site?

If the state's tool says your state refund was processed and sent, you'd need to phone the state tax agency to inquire about it.
