After you file
Please explain in more detail what you did ---with what tax year(s) -- and when. It makes no sense to send in an amended return before filing an original return. If you really did things backwards like that, the IRS will be confused and there may be a long delay before you ever receive a refund. You are supposed to file your original return first--whether by e-file or regular mail--wait for the IRS to fully process the return, and then---if you left out information or need to correct something, send in a Form 1040X to amend the original return. Amended returns take four months or more to be processed.
And...on at least one of the returns you used an incorrect address? You will need to send a change of address to the IRS so that they have your correct mailing address.
