After you file
@ hammondovi wrote:I am getting the same issue. It is a US tax return. I have no idea where the "province" info is missing and when I click the button to change my info, I am not directed to a place showing any errors or missing info. Instead, I am in a loop that prevents me from paying for my Turbotax and e-filing or even printing and sending in the return via mail.
What is your situation? Are you living in the US and have a USA mailing address, or are you living in a foreign country and entered a foreign mailing address in the My Info (Personal Info) section? Or did you enter a foreign address on another form such as for an employer's W-2, a 1099, etc? We can tell you how to enter a foreign address, but it requires knowing where to do so. Don't try to correct the issue using the error popup. Instead, navigate back to the actual entry area in the interview. I'd first go back and check the My Info section, since that's probably the most common. And if you entered a foreign address on any W-2, 1099, etc., go back to that interview to review it, and also use that same method to indicate "type" of mailing address as "foreign country."
In general, if you are trying to enter a foreign address, you have to first select the "type" of address as "foreign country" in the dropdown menu for that field. Then the remaining fields will change and will include a box for Province and Country and international postal code.
If you can't narrow it down, if you can phone the USA (be aware of toll charges) here's how to contact TurboTax Support for a back-and-forth.
