It is not uncommon for the bars to go away and come back throughout processing. When the IRS is done processing your return, they will issue you a refund/deposit date. Additionally, if you claimed the EIC or Additional Child Tax Credit, the IRS will begin issuing tax refunds on these returns on February 27, 2019 per the rules of the PATH act. If this applies to you, you may not see an update until late February. If it has been longer than 21 days and you did not claim the EIC or ACTC, you can contact the IRS to inquire about your refund.
