If the returns were accepted, you have to wait it out until they have been fully processed. Do not do anything to change or amend the returns now. WAIT. If you try to do anything now it will be a worse mess. Sometimes the IRS catches mistakes and corrects them for you. Amending too soon can lead to confusion and very long delays. So you wait until the return has been processed and you get your refund. Do not spend the big refund---because some of it may have to be paid back when you amend and file correctly.
