It depends. If the IRS has not already processed your return, it is possible that they will catch the error and send you a letter stating that they are making a correction to your return because you left off income. In this case, you will not need to do anything.
If the IRS has already processed your return, then yes, you will need to Amend Your Return and add the SSA-1099 to your return when the amended forms become available.
