After you file

Sorry, prior year tax returns are saved each October as full-size PDF files with all forms and backup worksheets.

IF you save your PDF each year during the regular season, you can get the "File-Only" Copy....but not after October.  So save your 2017  PDF now.

You'll have to just print out just the selected sheets you need from the PDF if you didn't save a file-only copy last year.

Which ones?   In the Federal section, it is usually only most of the sheets above the "Tax History Report"   (although there might be some unneeded payment vouchers may be at the very top)

Everything below the "Tax History Report"  you will likely see a "Keep for your records" under each sheet's title....none of those are to be filed.

..…...until you get down to the State tax return, then you'll have to pick and choose again those sheets that do not say "Keep for your records".

The "Filing Instructions"  sheets are not filed either, but you may want to print them out for yourself anyhow.
