I am receiving an error saying "The document xxxxxxx has the wrong tax year is wrong or some other issue that prevents us from opening it.".
All files are stored locally, not in iCloud, they are not encrypted, tried to open using "right click and open with" and opening from within the TT app. I receive the same massage with either method.
I tried opening prior Tax Year .tax (2020 to 2024) files into the appropriate year TT with the same results.
I tried installing a new version of TT 2024 on a different Mac device, started a return and saved then tried to reopen. Received the same message when opening the file I had just created.
All devices meet the minimum macOS (One is running Venture 13 the other Sequoia 16) and are unto date with all MacOS updates.
