If you will be using Sales Taxes as an itemized deduction on Schedule A of your federal tax return, you have to provide the program with your State sales tax rate and your Local sales tax rate.
Your federal tax bracket is used by the TurboTax program based on your taxable income and Filing Status. TurboTax uses the tax brackets as published by the IRS for the tax year being filed.
