If you were under the age of 59 1/2 and made a withdrawal from a tax deferred retirement account, then there would have been a 10% early distribution penalty, entered as a tax liability, included on your federal tax return, Form 1040.
Look at your tax return Schedule 2 Line 8 for the penalty. This amount flows to the Form 1040 Line 23.
