Must be entirely separate.
Online software (thru a browser), is only for 2023 taxes. You can still work on those, adn e-file them thru mid-Oct, even though they are a bit late now.

You cannot use the "Online" software for your 2022 taxes and 2022 taxes will have to be printed out and mailed in. There is no penalty for filing late if you are getting a refund anyhow.
As long as you have a full Windows or MAC computer, you can buy, download and install the 2022 desktop software to prepare those 2022 taxes here:
