After you file
When you set up a payment in TurboTax, in addition to asking you for your bank account, it also asks for a date you would like the payment to come out. There is also a statement that prints in your return to show that a payment was set up.
You should review your return and see if the payment was set up before mailing your voucher. The voucher would need to be mailed out with your check.
If you have not printed your return yet to review it, follow the next steps:
- Select Preview or print returns if your return has been accepted, or
- Select Your tax returns & documents to expand it if needed and select Download/print return (PDF).
