After you file
No, you will need to amend your return after it is accepted. Once the IRS has had a chance to process it you can amend.
If, by chance, the IRS does reject your return you can fix it and resend it because a rejected return is not filed. As indicated by @LeticiaF1, an amendment is the only option if your return is accepted.
You will be able to access and file an amended return on approximately February 14th (Form 1040-X). Use the link here to check to see when available:
