Try again....There are two "possible" different PINs...the 5 digit one at the filing step.

And the 6-digit one ...but that is not entered in the filing step.

The IP-Pin...in the desktop software....is entered 

...in the Federal Taxes area on the desktop software   (or the Personal taxes area if using Home&Buisness)

.....a menu item in the "Other Tax Situations" tab
