After you file
I think this is referring to form 1098E. It should be entered because it is an adjustment to income that is beneficial to a taxpayer. As @xmasbaby0 points out, you will need to wait until the return has been accepted by the IRS and when it is, you will need to amend your return and include the 1098-E. Here's how to amend.
- Sign in at TurboTax.com with the user ID you used when you filed your 2023 return.
- Select Scroll down Your tax returns & documents in your landing page.
- Select Amend (change) 2023 return.
- Once your return is opened in your amendment, enter your 1098 E by going to
- Federal>Deductions and Credits
- Education>Student Loan Interest Paid (Form 1098-E)
