If you made less than $4700 in 2023 and your parents supported you -- they can claim you as a dependent, which means they paid for over half your support by providing food and shelter, etc. to you. By claiming you as a dependent they get a tax break on their own tax return. If you made more than $4700, they cannot claim you as a dependent.
But before any assumptions----do you in fact live with parents---or are you on your own -- living with roommates, etc.?
