If you also forgot to prepare that past year state return, but prepared the federal return using TurboTax, then you can use the CD/download software to prepare the state return and then print it and mail it in. It is not possible to use online TurboTax or send an e-filed return for a past tax year.
You need to use the exact account and user ID that you used for the federal return to get access.

When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS and/or your state received the return.
