After you file
You do not get a refund for that situation. Your fee was for using the software to prepare and file a tax return. You did not pay an extra fee to get direct deposit. Your fee remains the same. If you want to have a conversation with customer support and let them explain it:
No one in the user forum can resolve a billing issue. If you have a question about your TurboTax fees or billing, make sure you use the word “billing” in your request for help. Do not use the word “refund.”
