xmasbaby0 is correct. Wait and see what happens. If rejected, great, you can fix things. However, if the 1099-G is for a state refund and you did not itemize last year, it does not need to be entered and can be tucked into your tax folder.

 

If the 1099-G has taxable income, you will need to amend federal and any state return that may be affected. 

 

Once your original return is accepted and the finances are settled, you can file an amended return.
