BUT, did you download and install/start up the 2021 software?
IF the desktop software is having you start a 2022 file, then you have the 2022 software started....not the 2021 amendment software.
If you filed and paid for 2021 tax Online software last year, the Amend selection in the 2021 area should allow you to download the 2021 desktop amend software for free.
