Just Some basic information… The return was not sent to the IRS for processing until the ITIN number was issued Sometime in November. Be aware that this is considered a paper return and those are taking six months or longer to process. It will not show up in the IRS where is my refund tool until A data input operator enters it into the system. There’s nothing you can do to speed this up so all you can do is be patient and check the IRS tool once a week to see if you’re in the system.
