A tax return prepared with taxusa cannot be transferred to a 2021 TurboTax desktop edition.
To complete and file an amended 2021 tax return using TurboTax you would need to purchase, download and install on a personal computer, Windows or Mac, one of the 2021 desktop editions from this website - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/past-years-products/
You would then need to recreate exactly the 2021 tax return that was originally completed and filed with the IRS.
In the File section of the TurboTax program you would need to indicate that the 2021 tax return is to be mailed to the IRS. Complete the File section and save the 2021 return as a PDF so the software thinks the return has been filed.
Then you will have to amend the 2021 tax return that you created.
