Uhoh----did YOU put that return in an envelope and mail it yourself? TurboTax does not mail your tax return for you. If you chose to file by mail, and did not mail it yourself, it has not ever been filed at all.
If you did not file, then print, sign and mail it asap.
When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.
Federal and state returns must be in separate envelopes and they are mailed to different addresses. Read the mailing instructions that print with your tax return carefully so you mail them to the right addresses.
Or....if you did mail it, then you may still have to wait since the IRS is so backlogged it is taking them six to nine months to process mailed returns.
You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 35a of your 2021 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:
