@Creepyconsequence Actually, you can get free transcripts of your past tax returns, up to about ten years.   If you want an actual copy of the tax return, there is a fee of $43 per return.   So---save copies yourself for your own records to avoid having to pay for them.

 

 

A transcript is not a "copy" of the return, but it shows the information that was on the return.
