@vieraerika435 what makes this more complicated than what @xmasbaby0 stated is that you are suggesting that you received the stimulus payments last spring at the tune of $1400 per "dependent". if that is true, then that means you also claimed the "dependent" on the 2020 (and maybe 2019) tax return because that is the basis on how the IRS knew to send you those payments last spring. I don't see how those stumulus checks can end up on an amendment.
How to unravel the Oregon payment of $600 is not part of the federal amendment process.
It may be best to find a local tax person to help you straighten out this mess. It is not simple to explain and unravel all the spaghetti on an anonymous board.
