@DoninGA I'm having same situation as Bcasstevens02:
I filed my tax return via turbotax early this year (for tax year 2021), and turbotax shows IRS shall refund me over $2000. But after it was submitted electronically and IRS accepted it, I realized that I missed something so I again used turbotax to file the amend (1040x), turbotax shows I owe IRS about $1700.
IRS did charged me $1700 just after I filed my 1040x via turbotax, also refunded me about $2000 with few minor changes they have done.
But I still received this letter recently. The letter says they received my amend, but determined no action is necessary because they already made changes on my original tax return. (which is weird, because they did charge me $1700 based on my 1040x). And the letter I received asks me to mail one of the attached voucher back to them, one voucher says it is just inquiry, one voucher says making payment.
