If you are Amending a 2021 Return, be sure to save a copy of your original return.
The Refund Meter should return to $0 before you start adding or deleting items to the amended return.

You have up to three years to Amend your return; you might want to wait until tax season rush is over. Amended returns are processed separately, and can take 12-16 weeks to process.
