When you prepared your 2020 return you were asked if you had received the FIRST or SECOND stimulus checks and were supposed to enter your information about those two EIP payments.
On your 2021 return you are being asked about only the THIRD stimulus check---not the 1st or 2nd ones. You do not enter anything on your 2021 return about the fact that you are still waiting for your 2021 tax refund. If you received the stimulus check of $1400 per person that is the one you are being asked about. Those payments started to go out in mid-March last year.'
Check your bank accounts or check your online account with the IRS to see if the 3rd EIP was sent to you.
