I received my state return, and when I put that amount in with my information it says, "they don't have any information on my return." EVEN THOUGH I already received my state return in my bank account. This sugar honey iced tea is really starting to get on my nerves.
The IRS "Where's My Refund" tool is only for Federal returns.
If you want to track a state refund, you have to use the particular state's refund lookup tool. But you've said you have already received your state refund. But if you just want to see how it works and test your state's tool, see this:
FAQ: How do I track my state refund?

As for the Federal return, did you efile? If so, be sure the efiled return was accepted. If using Online TurboTax, you can log in and look at the Tax Home to check.
Here are some tips when using the IRS "Where's My Refund" tool:
- Be sure you have waited at least 24 hours after acceptance before using the IRS WMR tool. If you mailed a paper return, it can take at least 4 weeks to show up in the IRS WMR tool.
- Be sure you enter the correct SSN and filing status.
- Be sure you are using only the Federal refund amount. Do not include any state refund or any total refund or net refund (Fed and State) that TurboTax may have provided on a screen.
- Also be sure you are using the Federal amount before any TurboTax fees are taken out (if you chose that option.)
- Look at your actual Federal return to get the Federal refund amount, i.e., your Form 1040, Line 35a.
You can also try phoning the IRS refund hotline. I've seen it work for some users when the WMR tool didn't. 800-829-1954
