After you file

For one thing--you do not amend a return that has never been processed to begin with.   If they want another copy then print the original return, sign it in ink and mail it to them.   Why would you amend?   What do you want to change?

 

But.....how do you know they did not receive it?   Did they send you a letter?  See below:
