But a $28,000 refund? Sounds like you need to check very carefully for extra zeros or misplaced decimals in the amounts you entered, especially if a big refund like that is highly unusual for you. Even with the new refundable credits and stimulus money that sounds pretty suspect.
Go back over the amounts you entered from your W-2's etc. and look at them very closely. Do not file until you find the mistake(s).
