After you file

If you are a dependent of your parents then you must indicate this on the return ... in the MY INFO tab the question is there so go back and edit yourself to be sure.  Then once you are sure you are not claiming yourself you can efile the return.  Look at the form 1040 to double check you did mark the dependent box correctly ...
