If your Adjusted Gross Income is above the maximum allowed for the Recovery Rebate Credit the question will not be asked during the interview when actually entering your tax data.
- Single or married filing separately—$80,000
- Married filing jointly or qualifying widow(er)—$160,000
- Head of household—$120,000
