Three weeks after mailing your amendment, you can start tracking it at Where's My Amended Return? on IRS.gov.
Payments can be made as indicated by our awesome Tax Champ @bluedeb.
Currently the date for Form 1040-X availability is February 24, 2022 for e-file of 2021 tax return.
