1. If the tax return has been already filed and accepted by IRS, then you will have to file an amendment to change your status.

2. If you have not yet filed, then follow these steps.
- Open TurboTax
- Go to my information
- Answer yes to question Can someone claim you as dependent
- Complete the tax return and file.
