How much is it trying to charge you? The only extra thing you need to pay for in the Desktop program is to efile a state return for $20. Or you can print and mail state for free.
Then if you want the state efile fee deducted from your refund there is an Extra $40 Refund Processing Service charge (45 in California). Or pay with a credit card to avoid the extra charge.
Or is it charging you to download the state PROGRAM?
