After you file
You should receive form 1099-G from the state of MD with the amount of your refund. If you don't have the form, the amount of your state refund that you enter into TurboTax is the check amount you received from MD in 2021. If you received the refund in 2022, don't enter it. You'll enter the amount on your 2022 income tax return.
