If you are referring to the bank account for a direct deposit of a tax refund, once the tax return has been filed and accepted the bank information cannot be changed. If the information is incorrect the bank will refuse the deposit and send it back to the IRS. The IRS will send the tax refund as a check in the mail to the address entered on the tax return.
