The IRS was closed for several months last year for Covid-19 like a lot of places. They are still catching up with 2019 returns. They are way behind. Plus they are reviewing all the returns that claimed the Recovery rebate credit on line 30. There are a lot of errors on line 30 and the IRS has to correct the returns.
