After you file

Thanks, @CatinaT1. Here's my situation: I eFiled my 2020 return through TurboTax on March 25th 2021. I received a confirmation (via Intuit email address) that my return was accepted by the IRS.

As a self-employed person, I am not awaiting a refund - I paid my full tax bill/balance when I efiled on March 25.

It's June 22nd 2021, and I really need my Tax Return Transcript for TY 2020, but it is  not in my IRS.gov account where previous years transcripts are. What I see for TY2020 is "no record of a processed tax return" for 2020.

Our landlords are selling their house - we've found one to purchase - our mortgage company is requesting my last two years Tax Return Transcripts - I can only provide 2019's because 2020 shows no record of a processed return, It's been about 90 days since efiling and receiving confirmation that the IRS accepted my return, I think I am going to lose the contract on the house because of this. Do you (or does anyone else) have any insight at all on this? I filed in March. It's Late June. How long does the IRS need? Especially with eFiled documents and confirmation that the return has been accepted?

Normally wouldn't post in a forum, but Ive written the IRS (nothing back) Called the IRS, the Rep said they are behind due to covid, I tied to book an appointment but can't get through, I've searched the web countless hours but every result - every result that comes has "where's my refund" in the description. Again, because I'm self employed I don't get refunds, so none of the results are really helping much. This post however, was the closest to my situation in terms of transcript availability. Not sure who you are, but you provided some good info - if you can help with this one, @CatinaT1 , I'll buy you a beer!

Thank you!
