If you received the 1st stimulus payment of $1,200 in early 2020 and the 2nd stimulus payment of $600 in January or February of 2021 then you have received all the payments that would be reported on the 2020 tax return in regards to the Recovery Rebate Credit. You should have indicated on the 2020 tax return that both stimulus payments, EIP1 and EIP2, were received so they would not be included in your 2020 federal tax refund
The third stimulus payment is not part of the 2020 tax return. It is being distributed by the IRS based on the 2019 or 2020 federal tax return received by the IRS.
