There are many steps in the processing of the tax return thru the IRS pipeline but the WMR? tool only has 3 steps.   See the chart here :  https://www.taxpayeradvocate.irs.gov/get-help/roadmap/

So you will see  return received >>> processing/still processing/code 152 >>> approved >>> refund sent.

It would be nice if there were more sections to this meter but there is not so the code 152 is a generic "holding code" to take the place of the line between step 1 & step 2 on the orange bar.
