As you continue through the amendment interview you will eventually be asked about payments you may have made with your original return or any refunds received already from your original return.
I do want to reiterate what @HelenC12 mentions, you should wait for your original return to be processed. The IRS is correcting misstated stimulus payments on 2020 tax returns. You probably do not need to amend if only for stimulus payments.
