Two days is usually the amount of time it takes for the return to be accepted by the IRS. The total processing time could be up to twenty-one days or longer in some cases. To find out when you will receive your refund, you can track the progress by going to www.irs.gov/refunds. You will not be able to track the refund until approximately 48 hours after the return has been accepted by the IRS.
