West Virginia has not issued any guidance on what to do about the federal exemption for the first $10,200 of unemployment. Unemployment benefits are taxable in WV.
The state has extended the filing deadline to confirm with the federal filing date of May 17.
I suggest waiting a few weeks before filing an amended WV return.
