"pending" or "being processed?" Those are not the same thing.

You cannot e-file again while your return is in pending or while it is still being processed. Wait until it is either rejected or accepted. If it is accepted and you need to correct something on it, you have to wait until it has been fully processed and then amend it. If it is rejected you can make corrections and re-file it.
If the return was accepted then you just have to wait until the IRS processes it. There are a lot of delays for 2020 refunds.
