All ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️our refunds of people who filed early for released at tax opening day and accepted all at same time and hit. Massive glitch causing us to be sent to the errors department for manually review. They didn't expect that many return to be submitted at once and the system crashed. They are working to review each one manually and transcripts won't update until after they review them and put info in their system. You can call and ask them what's going on but honestly the phone reps can't see where your return is or it's status because it's sitting on some guys desk . They can only see the filed return and after it's updated and porcessed. So basically as of the date of that letter you ordered transcripts they haven't touched your return. It's been accepted and passed the initial verified but it hasn't been released through the manual review ERS department. This is why everyone is so confused. I gave up trying to explain it to people. Calling them doesn't help unless you get a letter in the mail saying you have an issue there is nothing you can do to make it go faster. This is also why people who are filing after are getting refunds already. The glitch only effected people who filed in a certain time frame. The new filers are being processed like normal. Unfortunately we were very unlucky and the IRS left all our returns in the Error department because we were mixed in with people with actual errors and they figure it would be easier to just fix and review them all than to let the people with errors back into the system (god forbid they let someone skate away with money they didn't earn right 🤣) so we're being punished for their mistake ❤️❤️
