After you file

There is not a federal deposit from the state of Utah.   If you have a federal refund coming to you it comes from the IRS---the United State Treasury.   If you are getting a state refund it comes from Utah.

So what is missing from 2019----your federal refund or your state refund?  Did you e-file the 2019 returns last year?  What does it say in your account?  Does it show that federal and state returns were accepted?  Or does it say something else--like "rejected," "printed," or "ready to mail?"   If it does not say accepted then the return was not filed.   You can print, sign and mail it now ---a 2019 return cannot be e-filed.

Or----if it says it was accepted but you did not receive the refund, contact either the IRS or the state to see what happened.

For a 2019 federal refund:
