@blaisdell36 Has your return already been accepted? If not, you would need to wait until it has been accepted or rejected before you can make any changes. If rejected, you would need to correct any information that caused your return to be rejected as well as make any other changes to your return that you see fit, then proceed to resubmit your return. If accepted, you would need to amend your return. The 1040X Amendment form will be available for filing on 3/25/2021. At that time, you can then follow the instructions in this FAQ here to amend your 2020 tax return.
