I see that form 1040X is ready and available on the IRS website. Why is it not ready on Turbo Tax. When I try to amend it say I can't amend my Federal until 5 days ago???

I am trying to amend my 2018 return. When will that be available to do on turbo tax. I already messed up once I can't do form 1040X myself.
Would like to get this taken care of ASAP.

After you file

    The holdup is the IRS.  They have not released the 1040X instructions for tax year 2018.

    IRS Form 1040X, Amended U.S. Individual Income Tax Return is estimated to be available on 02/22/19

    The tax return should not be amended until the tax refund has been received from the IRS.
